Captain's Log, Day 44:
Today's jump brought us to a large asteroid field. Short range sensors detected the possible presence of useful materials, so we utilized our Scrap Recovery Arm and managed to mine 51 scrap while we waited for our FTL engines to recharge. That distress beacon was getting more urgent, so we set off.
