FTL Log Entry 41
Captain's Log, Day 41:
We arrived at an Engi research station. Our first observation was that it had been viciously attacked, by Mantis most likely, while we were helping the previous station.
Jones piped up and mentioned running a sensor scan after he had made some calibrations, in order to see if anyone was left aboard, or if there was anything of value we could salvage. The scan revealed that the station reactor was overloading. There was an injured Engi and a functional drone schematic aboard the ship. Jones suggested taking the drone, but we didn't have the ability to control drones. I opted to save the life on the ship.
Aisha, Fleischy, and Stick were the away team, and they brought the Engi and 25 scrap back just in time for us to escape the blast. Mikhail offered to join us in exchange for the rescue, until he was no longer needed.
Sensors were picking up another distress beacon, but there was also a store nearby. We would attempt to reach the store, then the distress beacon before the Rebels caught up with us.
