FTL Log Entry 37
Captain's Log, Day 37:
Of course we would jump into range of a forward Rebel scout. The first thing I did was have Bjorn target their engines. The last thing I wanted was for these bastards to let the fleet know where we are.
The rebels teleported someone onto our ship who started dismantling our sensors. I signalled for Fleischy and Stick to take care of the intruder while we attempted to cripple the enemy ship. Our missile made a direct hit, and took out the Rebels' engines. Their weapons managed to take down our shields, but we were able to maneuver out of the way of any damage thanks to Aisha's work optimizing the engines. Bjorn targeted their weapons systems with the burst laser in an attempt to save us from further damage.
The intruder teleported back before we could completely take care of them, so I sent Fleischy and Stick over to the enemy ship to deal with the rest of their crew. After about a minute of anxious anticipation, we received the all clear. They managed to grab 29 scrap, a drone, and a missile to bring back to our ship.
As they healed up, I surveyed the map to plot our next jump. Luckily, we were still a step ahead of the Rebels. I didn't see anything unusual on the sensors, so we could take a quick breather.
