FTL Log Entry 34
Captain's Log, Day 34:
Just after dropping out of FTL we received a message. Apparently, it was meant to degrade us, being aliens in the system. My initial reaction was to prepare for an attack, but the message seemed to be coming from a nearby civilian shuttle.
Our engines charged and we headed off to the next beacon, only one jump until the next sector. I was surprised we had made it this far with so little resistance, and began to wonder if our luck was actually changing, or I had just become a much more calloused captain, with little regard for the goings on around us.
