FTL Log Entry 31
Captain's Log, Day 31:
We arrived at the store location to find a small Rock trading post. Normally they don't do business with outsiders, but since Stick joined our crew, we had an in. He informed us that they would pay for their dealings with us later. This set my stomach churning at the thought of them being punished, but we needed their assistance.
They helped us patch our hull, using only 18 scrap. We then traded 50 more for a scrap recovery arm, in the hope we would be able to salvage more from future encounters. We sold our stealth weapons for 25 scrap, and then spent the remaining scrap upgrading our shields. I set Jones to work trying to find a way to improve our reactor, but I doubt he'll be able to do much without any spare parts.
We set a course back the way we came, and then off toward finishing the quest we had been given. Only one more jump laid between us and a payday, and we hoped it was nothing nefarious.
